Marcy Avenue

Written in Paris, Munich, Montréal and New York, Jon Mesek's second release Marcy Avenue is a fusion of many influences. Veering from glossy Indie-Pop to Brian Eno-esque synth soundscapes and experimentalism the album is a diverse, fearless and yet cohesive singer-songwriter album.

An incredibly broad palette of sounds from 80's synth stabs to an orchestra of Trombones, Saxophone solos and soundscapes worthy of Vangelis' Blade Runner score is the foundation for Mesek’s stories.

With most of the tracks flowing into each other Marcy Avenue has been created as a complete listening journey taking one into Mesek’s world of broken cities, seven armed circus attractions, heartbeats and illusions.
